Even with it's quirks, the Triton 400 is my favorite GPSr, primarily because you are able to build and load your own maps using all kinds of Googe, Yahoo, and MSN maps. My personal favorite is MSN hybrid aerial maps, whick show up on the 100, 200, and 300 foot map scale. For larger areas, I upload my old eXplorist Topo 3d maps. Controls and menus on the receiver take getting used to, and the buttons are certainly too small. Accuracy and satellite acquisition can't be beat! Early firmware issues have been solved by recent updates. Paperless geocaching? Yes! Taking everything into consideration, this is a really good (not perfect) tool for geocaching.

I wish it could project waypoints and have easier buttons to work with. :)

The input of Koordinates are a little bit circuitous

Absolut präzise, wasserdicht und mit 2 AA Akkus gut 10 - 12 Stunden im Einsatz, auf einer SD Karte kann alles wichtige gespeichert werden, ich kann es empfehlen

I find the plug-in SD micro card to be a great feature. I can download maps at almost as much detail as I want. The TritonForum.com provides superb support. The device has a bright, colorful, detailed display. Bad: I cannot get the WAAS to kick-in even though I have a clear view to the south. The measured accuracy is roughly plus-or-minus 5 meters when it can see 6 or more satellites (which is most of the time). The accuracy of the elevation is much worse than that and jumps around alot for no obvious reason.
