Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

This cache, set in the Koornong region of the Warrandyte State Park, is the first of two cache's planned by our kids. Watch out for the wildlife, there is plenty with a large population of birds and wallabies.
Best access (and a shortish walk) is from the Hamilton Road end of the Koornong, although the track is also accessable from the Pigeon Bank Road end as well although this end can become a little overgrown. At the peak of the track there are nice views over the river.

Found it with our caching buddies...the "Smellie 6". After pushing geo-kids up the start of the slope, they raced ahead and found the cachebefore the keeper of the GPS was anywhere near the spot. They are getting way too good at this! It was a beautiful day, and what a nice way to burn off the gizillion calories we ate at breakfast. Time to go home and make lunch now! Took a snake, left a cochroach. TFTC

Found at 13:33 with 3up on a day of caching in the area. My 6th for the day. We took the Pigeon Rd access and it wasn't overgrow, although we walked along the path until the cache was showing 90deg to our right and then climbed the steep bank. Left Mr Rumble and a Batman Card, took nothing. Dropped off a TB. Thanks once again for the cache Threepwood

Find # 734 @ 13:33 with jaffnut on our Warrandyte area cache clean up day.
This was my 5th and relatively easy find after a bit of a climb up the bank to the cache. Passed the adjacent land owner out brush cutting his fence line.
TN but left the Dancing Girl TB.
Thanks for the cache Threepwood.

Great spot for a cache. One of those, "yep that's where it will be." Not too much thinking involved, no wasting time searching for the darn thing! REALLY recommend everyone take the path down to the river...beautiful spot and a very friendly duck was willing to sniff out anything thrown in the water!
After leaving, saw some teens walking up the hill, after seeing them floating by earlier. They had to walk back to Warrandyte where they started, as they were told it was just a short walk back if they floated this far!!
Gave 1 of them a lift to their car, to pick up the others.
1 Great Cache & 1Good Deed.
Good-sized cache and well-stocked...
Thanks for bringing us here.
