Parking is at N 40° 05.495' W 085° 17.054' to begin the 1½ mile round trip trek. The cache is approximately 3 inches by 3 inches by 2 inches and contains a log, pencil and small items for trade.The cache area can easily be seen from the trail so please be discreet while exchanging items and signing the log to avoid the cache being plundered.
For the more adventurous geocacher, alternate parking is available at N 40° 07.280' W 085° 19.341' to begin a 4½ mile round trip trek.
Both trails to the cache area are mainly level with very slight inclines and can be traveled by walking, biking, rollerblading or cross-country skiing; however, your concluding search may involve a brief encounter with more robust terrain.
