Geocache Description:

On Avalon Rd / 545

LAST CALL : This cache will be ending December 31st. No logs will be accepted after this time.

General Info:
This cache was originally created by arejaybiker in November 2001 and with permission taken over by TrendyMagic (yep that's me) May 2004.

This is a road with a great view of "The World", Walt Disney World that is. The coords above will take you to an entrance of a landfill which will give you a great place off the road to park and enjoy the view. The new coords above are down the road a little bit from the original ones. Here the view is better due to recent land development in the area.

How to log:
To receive credit for this cache you must answer the following question: Across the street from where you parked there is a wooden telephone pole... What identification number is on the metal plate of this pole?

Please submit your answer before you log the cache. You can submit your answer right here. That should make it much easier for you. If you forget to send that email, or just decide not to, yes I will remove your log. I am not afraid of the delete button.

Other info:
Here is some other info that you might enjoy know before you go to this cache. When you look out to the southeast you will see some very familiar sites, mainly Disney things. Directly in front of you is the Magic Kingdom. You should see Space Mountain without trouble, Cinderella's Castle will take some work to see. Moving right you should be able to see many hotels, most notably the A-frame Contemporary Resort just past space mountain. Looking a further distance to the right you should be able to pick out the Epcot park. Epcot is the one that looks like a giant golf ball. Just past Epcot is the Disney-MGM Studios which has the tallest attraction at Walt Disney World: The Tower of Terror. If you have a real good eye you can pick out the newest Disney theme park, Animal Kingdom. Since the icon for that park is a 14 story tree it blends in fairly well. A good eye can pick it out.

I would suggest visiting this spot at night. The fireworks show from the Magic Kingdom, Wishes, is the closest and launched from two different areas. Also you can see parts of the Illuminations firework show from Epcot. Below are pictures of both and a schedule of when the shows will start. Wishes is the better of the two to view from here if you had to decide on one. As always with Disney, they can change anything at a moments notice so check the calendar at DisneyWorld.com for any known changes.

Quick Facts:

Wishes: Approximately 683 individual pieces of pyrotechnics are launched during the regular nightly shows
