Easy walk through the Arboretum with an opportunity to examine some of Evergreen flora up close.
This cache is located in the beautiful 127-acre Frelinghuysen Arboretum - where we found our first cache as a family on a rainy new years day 2003 (a fun cache by Orange and Jungle Green).
This cache was placed with the help of my 5 yr. old son - so it's very kid friendly and perfect for a walk with the family. The final reach for this cache, however, requires some commitment is not suitable for children (although they can watch and enjoy the experience as well). Hiders are asked to ensure the cache is closed well and securely stashed - hidden AS WELL OR BETTER for the next seeker. Please don't retrieve the cache unless you can replace it - it's half the challenge. The container is relatively small (smaller than an ammo box but larger than a typical micro) and has space for small trade items. Please be careful to avoid any specific references in the log which may ruin the experience for others - but it's fair to say this cache may be a bit of a stretch for some!
