A great many years ago, our country was also in a state of war, but this **very** interesting historical marker points out how very different this war/rebellion was. I pass this little known site every day on my way home from work, & can't help but somehow be fascinated by it.
This cache will end up being a virtual cache after the 1st seeker gets there & retrieves the travel bug left there. I'll leave the coordinates up for this site for about 2-3 weeks for anyone interested enough in stopping & checking it out. After the 2-3 weeks, we'll archive it & come up with a new place. We want to do some cache hiding during the winter months, but we don't want to go stumbling through ice & snow to place it, nor do we want anyone to get hurt doing the same trying to find it...therefore these will be really easy but really rewarding!
Please take precaution when getting into/out of your car here. If you are pulled enough onto the shoulder, it won't be a problem, but we're putting this warning out nontheless.
