Geocache Description:

We have housed 633 travel bugs to date!

We are proud to announce the brand new opening of Ye Olde 41 Travel Bug Motel Located just minutes off of I-75, you will find this pleasant little Motel for your critters to sleep in and get a good night's rest. Local wonderful attractions to appease the masses are all around. You must have the combination 3-2-1 to open the Motel. Please make sure you lock the Motel up when you are done, to prevent geomuggles from bamboozling and hornswaggaling the Motel. Remember, geomuggles just don't understand.

Ye Olde 41 Travel Bug Motel hours:

CLOSED

Only one rule of Ye Olde 41 Travel Bug Motel:

Take a travel bug, leave a travel bug. Take 2 travel bugs, leave 2 travel bugs, etc.

Please don't take a travel bug if you don’t have one to exchange. An empty motel is depressing so management kindly requests that you bring a bug if you intend to take one. All rule breakers will suffer a visit from my cousin Tony and his boys from Noo Joisey and their find will be deleted.

Of course, if you want to leave more bugs than you take, that would be great. Make sure you log which bug(s) you take and/or leave. If taking a travel bug, make sure you log it into the computer as soon as possible as curious owners want to know. If leaving a travel bug, write its goal in the log book or on the enclosed ziplock bag, so cachers will know what your bugs goal is and decide whether or not they can help.

Sorry - there are no non-bug related cache items inside. Feel free to still log the find, but not take a bug.

Even if you have visited this motel in the past, feel free to stop by to trade travel bug(s). Most travel bugs like to stay a day or 2 before hitting the road again. Just log your visit as a NOTE, and reveal what you took/left.

  • Why a bug hotel, you ask?
