The event officially begins with food and fun at the posted coordinates at 11:00 a.m., but feel free to come early do any of the area caches.

Secondary: N41 19.917 W073 21.544

Putnam Memorial has a large parking area with plenty picnic tables nearby. I’m sure we won’t have to squabble with too many muggles for space. [:P]

There are already a three caches in this park and there are a number of caches down the road at Huntington State Forest. I will go place a few more and hopefully get them approved just before the event. The caches I place for the event will be micros, or log only, so there won't be a need to trade items in every single cache.

You would be asked/begged to pitch in with one food item or supply materials: hotdogs, chips, rolls, beverages, plates, napkins, etc. I, of course, will supply the grill and gas. Please post a note on this cache page with what item(s) you plan to bring to avoid duplication.

Suggested: Warm clothes, spare dry socks, cross country skiing is excellent at both parks, snowshoes if it gets snowy and deep, travel bugs to trade, and all your Geocaching geeky stuff.

Please plan to come to share the love, do some caching and have some fun!
