It is a clear plastic "Tupperware" type container with a cream lid. When we set it up it had three Travel Bugs that are just starting their journeys –
"Elle",
"Marlin" and
"Pacific Fella".
We hope for lots more TB visitors over the years and promise them the best in hospitality.
If any need some TLC before continuing their journey they should check in here
for a while where they will receive their choice of spa treatments and complete
rest and rejuvenation. The cache should be findable year round - we will monitor its location as the seasons change and adjust its actual hiding spot as
and if needed, updating its description
and, if necessary, coordinates, when and if we do so. It's about 25 paces off
the A. B. Bartholomew trail.
Other trading goodies left when this cache was placed were:
- a seadoo
- a "Spice Girls" mouse pad
- a Canada map puzzle
- a racing car
- an eye-ball
- a bouncy ball
This area is easily accessible by foot, x-country ski or mountain bike
(depending on the time of year). At the time we set it up it is a new area for caches, convenient to the GTA, that we hope will encourage those who have already "done" the
other ones a bit further afield to come and visit.
In the summer you might be lucky enough to see Trumpeter Swans on the reservoir.
