Geocache Description:

This is a multi-stage cache. The difficulty and terrain ratings could vary depending on the route you take, and how good you are at solving simple puzzles.
WARNING: READ this page completely before going out to find the cache.

I found an extremely unique area to put a cache and decided to make it a multi-stage with clues that lead to a second cache, a short walk from the first cache location. This second cache is a sturdy, water-tight container, well-hidden from accidental discovery and hopefully plundering. You may discover some unique things in and about this cache, that is all I will say. Here's the specific information:

The coordinates above are for the first cache location, where you will find a standard cache and log book to sign, and regular cache items to trade. Also, there are explicit instructions and clues/puzzle(s) for finding the second cache and for logging the find online that you MUST follow to get credit for a find.

This area can be approached several different ways, and depending on which way you choose, it can be fairly easy and a short walk with some easy bushwhacking, or it can be a longer walk, more bushwhacking, and possibly some 4x4 in wet weather. You may encounter some unusual and/or interesting things along the way, again depending on which way you approach.

PLEASE do not put ANY clues, hints, directions, suggestions, pictures or any spoilers online that would give away the caches' locations, the answers to any parts of the puzzles, or anything else about the caches. Any clues will be deleted immediately. AND....

PLEASE log online with more that a one-liner....I'd enjoy a few words about your adventure getting to the caches. This is my pay-back (satisfaction) for putting this cache out, so be as wordy as you like, as I really enjoy the logs, and expect some interesting things to happen in this unique area.

Failure to follow the instructions here and in the first cache will result in your log being deleted, as I will need to protect the integrity of this special cache.

Now, here is some info you need to be able to solve the puzzles in order to locate the second cache:

1) You need to know the full date that Arizona became a US State.

2) You need to know some US and world capital cities (bring an atlas?)

3) you will need either a compass or a GPS that gives you bearing, and know how to find true and magnetic North.

4) You will need to know the name of the seventh, 14th and 21st President of the United States.

5) You will need to know the name of the manager of the Major League Baseball team that won the World Series in 1996.

Again, follow any and all instructions exactly and please do not give any hints that would spoil the fun for others!

I hope you have fun with this and enjoy your adventure!!
