Growing up in the South Bay this is where kids went to "admire the view". You could only find it if someone showed you the way. Since then a few more houses have been built, and you can't park up on the street or the fireroad knoll but, much to the dismay of the millionares nearby the land is still public and dog friendly.
There are two ways up here, only one I know well. The end of Via La Cuesta is about 50 feet from the cache. There is a fireroad that circles and continues roughly south east to the end of Ironwood Street in RPV (thank you Frank and Ashley). 'Ware the mud, after a rain it'll add another 2" to the perimeter of your shoes.
The cache is a large tupperware container with a blue top that initially contained, a memo pad a chinese jump rope, a yo-ball, a hand buzzer, whoopie cuchion, dog biscuits and a yellow rubber ducky.
