Kätkö sijaitsee Kallon saarella, aivan Kallon majakan kupeessa. Saarelle pääsee kuitenkin autolla.
The cache is located in the island of Kallo, just by the lighthouse of Kallo. You can go to the island by car.
Porin edustalle, Kallon saarelle, pystytettiin ensimmäinen puinen loisto vuonna 1884. Majakan ensimmäinen sumumerkinantolaite oli vuodelta 1901 peräisin oleva käsikäyttöinen ns. Hansenin sireeni. Sumusireenin käyttäjällä oli majakassa oma asunto. Kesällä 1903 Kallon majakka rakennettiin uuteen uskoon. Uusi kahdeksankulmainen majakkatorni koottiin rautaelementeistä ja sen kupeeseen rakennettiin loistonhoitajan asunto. 1930-luvulla majakka muutettiin ensin kaasu- ja sitten sähkökäyttöiseksi.
The sealight of Kallo was built to the island of Kallo in front of Pori coast in 1884. The first fog alarm was from 1901s and was used by hand. The man who was operating the light house had an apartment in it. In the summer of 1903 the new lighthouse was reconstructed. It was built of iron elements and had eight corners. A new apparment for light house operator was built next to the light house. In 1940-century the lighthouse was changed first to be operated by gas and then by electricity. Also fog alarm was changed to be operated by electricity.
