Geocache Description:


Die Cache-Box befindet sich an einem imposanten aber fast vergessenen Industrie-Architekturdenkmal aus den späten 20er Jahren.



The cache is locatet at an impressive but mostly forgotten monument of industrial architecture of the late 20s.

ACHTUNG CACHE TEMPORÄR WEGEN BAUARBEITEN VERLEGT!
Da das Bauwerk momentan mit großem Aufwand saniert wird und das Gelände mittlerweile eingezäunt ist, hat der Cache zeitweise seinen Platz verlassen. Der Cache liegt jetzt bei: N48°01.032, E008°17.515 (unter der Wurzel eines umgestürzten Baums, bitte wieder gut tarnen).

Da am Cache kein GPS-Empfang möglich ist - du wirst sehen warum - müssen die letzten Meter (in allen 3 Dimensionen) anderweitig herausgefunden werden. Begib dich an die angegebenen Koordinaten auf ca. 850m Meereshöhe und folge der Schatzkarte und deiner Intuition.

Nach erfolgreicher Cache-Suche kann man wenige Meter die Straße talaufwärts einkehren oder ein paar Kilometer talabwärts das Jugendstil-Hauptgebäude der Anlage besichtigen. Zur Anlage ist auch ein Lehrpfad mit einigen Schautafeln eingerichtet.

The cache is now placed at N48°01.032, E008°17.515 (below the roots of a broken tree).

GPS-reception is impossible at the cache location - you will see why. The last meters (in all 3 dimensions) have to be done in another way. Go to the given coordinates at an altitude of 850m, check the treasure-map and follow your instinct.

After a successful hunt you may have a drink a few meters up the road or you may visit the art-nouveau main building of the facility some km down the valley. You will also find a trail teaching you some details of the facility.
