Geocache Description:

The cache takes you along the banks of the Conwy estuary, looking over to the town of Conwy and the mountains beyond.

The cache is an easy walk. Dont forget the camera. Suggested parking at N53*17.058 W3*48.966,

Walk to N53*17.048 W3*48.951 and either climb the steps or use the ramp behind you for buggys, continue along footpath to location 1.

Across the river can be seen Conwy castle, the walled town of Conwy, Telfords suspension bridge and the road bridge, also the marina's of Conwy and Deganwy. The path takes you along the approaches to the cut and cover section of the Conwy tunnel taking the A55 expressway under and around the town of Conwy. Conwy marina was built / dug for the casting of the tunnel sections which were floated into place in the river bed. Enjoy the cache walk.
