Cement Ridge is a fire lookout tower in Wyoming, but close to the SD border. We took highway 14A through Spearfish Canyon to Savoy, then Roughlock Falls Road (#222) to Tinton Road. From there, we followed the signs for Cement Ridge Lookout on FS#105, FS#804, FS#850, and FS#867. There is parking just below the lookout tower. This is one of several towers in the Black Hills that is manned during the summer. The cache is an ammo box and the original contents included: logbook, bouncy ball, viola flower seeds, puzzle, post it notes, poncho, handwarmers, hair ties, Matchbox boat, whistle, USA pencil, insulated mug, Smokey the Bear bandana, and Tatanka TB. Take your binoculars and camera and enjoy the views!Scooptownduo
