Geocache Description:

A simple single-cache not far from the road over the mountain of "Gaberl".

The uncommon of this ruin is the rare type of asymmetric triangular tower, which sharp edge still stretches out against enemies.

The origin of this former castle lies in the 14th or 15th century, where its purpose was to
control and to defend the way over the mountain.

Go from Köflach towards Gaberl and leave the village of Salla behind you.

At the sharp bend "Schlossreihe" a path turns off, leave your car or bike there, follow the path for 5 minutes and enter the enemy territory ;-)

The cache itself is situated not far from the ruin, that place seemed to be a sentry-post in earlier days...

On the first page of the log-book you will find a plan-view of the ruin.

Have fun!
