Geocache Description:

Picnic is on Saturday October 16th and signup starts at Noon.

Please Check this page before you Drive to the Event. Driving Coordinates for the event. Please follow these coordinates to get to my Driveway. Turn at this point over Train Track N38.31.384 W090.12.598, then turn at N38.32.639 W090.14.055 (Start OF the Drive Way). Stay on this till you get to the coordinates for the Event. Here are the details of the picnic.

Prizes?:

We have gotten Sponserships from REI, BassPro Shop, and Groundspeak. Groundspeak has included 3 t-shirts, 5 stickers of varying types and sizes, 1 new Travel Bug, and 5 Yellow Jeep Travel Bugs. BassPro has donated two twentyfive dollar gift cards. REI has donated3 or 4 water bottles about a dozen tear apart magnetic things containing words and small pictures to put sentences on your icebox or whatever. It's kind of hard to describe it. REI keychains. Plus the 3 or 4 t shirts

What can I do?

What will SLAGA do?:

Volunteer to help setup and clean up or cook if you can. SLAGA will provide the meat. Veggie burgers available on request. Most of our picnics have been in nice parks with a few caches. While it might seem a little far to drive for those in St. Charles, I think the benefit is the absolute beauty of the farm and the river itself. The coords at the top of the page will get you to the front door of my house. We will be having a late lunch or early dinner - 4:00 in the afternoon. The farm where the Fall Picnic is going to be at is 874 Acres big. We have full access to this entire farm unless they still have crops on it. So please be kind to the land! You must not get on any farm equipment!

Activities:

Bonfire, Caching, Volleyball, Washers, Gym Set for the Young ones, Tire Swing, Meeting fellow Cachers, Karaoke, Bring stuff to Auction. It is a great way to have fun, And more to come......
