Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Virtual Cache is located along the Marshland Wildlife Drive in the Seney National Wildlife Refuge.
Parking is located at the main visitor center at Seney National Wildlife Refuge. Stop in for visit after the cache. This park is a wonderful place to explore around in and go for bike rides, hikes, or a scenic drive. Plus there is also a fishing loop where you can fish.

Virtual cache is located along the Marshland Wildlife Drive and can be accessed by car, bike, or foot which ever you choose (close to 2.5 miles one way!!). The day we went to get the coordinates we rode a bike and it is a nice ride out to the spot and you see so much more than you would in a car. So difficulty is a 1 because it is accessible by car, but can be more difficult if you choose. Have fun and explore all of the other trails there is to offer. For credit for this Virtual cache just send me an email telling me what spillway is located at the coordinates. Have a wonderful time and enjoy the view!

Please post pictures of the area!!!

This is a Link for website of center: (visit link)

The Visitor Center and drive is open from:

9am - 5pm May 15th - October 15th

During the downtime you can still hike to the cache but can not drive to the location only hike, bike, or ski :) (they give the animals the winter off :)

Lots of Loons today. Rainy day with temps in the 40's. Still a great place to be for a troll from down below. Spending a week in Curtis and loving every minute of it.
Sending Email - TFTC We need more virtuals - bring em back!

Fun returning to Seney. It had been years since we were here last. It remains a beautiful refuge. We biked at least ten miles on a warm day and did this cache. Hope to return soon! TFTC!

Found this with my wife Caching Chick and kids Team Hollis while heading north for our "Pure Michigan" tour. Very cool place here - although we really didn't see much since it was a rainy day. We stopped to see if we could find the eagle nest but couldn't see anything. We did get stuck behind someone going very slow who refused to let us pass for over 3 miles on the way out.

Highlights include:

- 1870 miles including finding a cache in each UP county
- Saw what we believe to have been a bobcat crossing the road
- Visited the bear ranch and had a blast
- Going through the Soo Locks on a boat tour
- See underwater shipwrecks in Munising
- Seeing some very cool and beautiful waterfalls
- Visiting a copper mine
- Camping with the whole family
- Kids seeing shooting stars for the very first time while camping
- Seeing some of the most beautiful places right here in our home state

Caching with:

Garmins Colorado 400t & 60CSx
Wyoming, MI
