NINE YEAR CACHE - Harry Larson Hardwood Forest
Here is a nice place to x-c ski. Trails wind through a nice maple and oak woods. They are groomed and rated as easy. This would be a nice place to try the next time you ski at Lake Maria State Park (just a little farther South of this park). Trailhead at N45-20.075 W93-55.814 has a parking area, picnic table, grill, wooden map, and an outhouse. Looks like there is a public water access across the road for canoeing. Cache is a plastic container. Update Note: On 10-14-10 I visited the cache to do a little maintainence. This cache was placed just prior to my being diagnosed with lymphoma. I have never been back to it until today. It was cared for and dried out by multiple cachers who came by on their hunts. I thank them all! The coolest note for today..... I just got results back from being scanned and there is no evidence of lymphoma! So, after 8 years I can now say that for today all is great. JK
