The first cache in Vienna where you can do the whole search
indoors, so it is perfectly suited for a rainy day!
The hiding place is less than a 100 m from the starting point.
Nevertheless it might take you up to an hour, depending on your
skills.

Bookworm disappeared! The last location
bookworm has been seen was at

Enter the building in front of you. Opening hours are Monday to
Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Avoid
attracting attention, as the people working here might be
bookworm’s enemies.
Since bookworm is known to tremendously love dictionaries and
enciclopedias proceed to 1b, to the area of books that must not
be borrowed. Most of the time bookworm leaves marks, sometimes
he tries to cover the tracks.
Get the following dictionaries, translating from German into a
foreign language and try to locate “bookworm” (in
German: “Bücherwurm”).

Meistens hinterlässt Bookworm Spuren, manchmal versucht er,
diese zu verwischen.
Hole dir die folgenden Wörterbücher Deutsch - andere
Sprache und versuche “Bookworm” (auf Deutsch
“Bücherwurm”) zu finden.

Öffne das Buch und suche nach dem bookworm. Doch halt, wie
nennen sie ihn dort?
Nimm den achten Buchstaben nenne diesen “M”.

Diesmal kannst du seine Spuren eindeutig erkennen! In früheren
Zeiten waren das zwei identische, aber nicht nebeneinander stehende
Buchstaben in einem Wort. Nenne diesen Buchstaben
“O”.

Suche wieder nach dem Bookworm. Hier siehst du, was aus ihm werden
kann, wenn er schafft, sein simples Dasein als Wurm zu
transzendieren und fortgeschritteneres Stadium erreicht. Ein
Buchstabe kommt in dem Wort mehrfach vor. Nimm die Häufigkeit
des Vorkommens, wandle sie in in einen Buchstaben um (a=1, b=2,
...) und nimm diesen als „S“.

Suche den Bookworm. Er hält sich oft bei seiner Freundin auf,
auch sie ist ein Tier mit einer Vorliebe für Bücher.
Bookworms Freundin lebt in einem Feld mit einer Hausnummer.
Wenn du ihn dort finden kannst, wandle diese Hausnummer in den
entsprechenden Buchstaben um und nenne das Ergebnis
“W”. Falls nicht, suche sorgfältiger.
VL.A – Der Feind
Dreh dich um und gehe zum Regal mit den Büchern unter
“VL.A FS.E”. Suche Bookworm in jenen mit teilweise
rotem Rücken. Nahe bei Bookworm findest du einen
berühmten Wissenschaftler, der einen wichtigen Beitrag zur
Erfindung der Computer leistete indem er eine besondere Form der
Algebra erfand. Da Computer angeblich einmal zu papierlosen
Büros führen werden, ist der Wissenschaftler ein
erbitterter Feind Bookworms. Nimm den ersten Buchstaben seines
Vornamens und nenne ihn“R”.
Bookworms Ferienwohnung
Schüttle die Buchstaben M, O, S, W und R so, dass ein
vernünftiges englisches Wort herauskommt.
Dann ersetze die Platzhalter durch die zugeordneten
Buchstaben.
Wenn du keinen Fehler gemacht hast, führen die Spuren dich in
sein steirisches Urlaubsdomizil, wo du ihn besuchen
kannst.
