You have just been promoted from Geocacher First-Class to Geocacher-Detective First-Class. A heinous crime has been committed and it is up to you to solve it. By collecting evidence, you will have the information needed to locate and apprehend another geocache. That geocache, Apprehended, was posted following the Crime Scene: Gathering of Evidence event. This geocache contains the evidence gathered there. You'll need to record this information. Specifically:
Hair color of suspect: _____________________
Murder weapon: _____________________________
Shoe size of suspect: ______________________
Time of crime: _____________________________
Method of entry: ___________________________
End of URL: ________________________________
The evidence was located in a special folio inside the geocache container, which was a 50 cal. ammo can. Please be sure to replace all of the evidence back in the folio! Treat it carefully. You may also read the list of detectives who were at the scene of the crime on February 24, 2002. Once you have recorded the information, you will be able to complete Apprehended.
The original contents were gathered at the crime scene and include two travel bugs. Hopefully some of the larger items will get picked up to make some more room in the container. In addition to the evidence, logbook and stash note, the original items were: Geocoin 25, Travel Slug, Mountlake Terrace Police stickers, Mountlake Terrace Police patch, Lynnwood Police patch, mini geocache #6, bubbles, Marvin the Martian bandana, furby-like toy, Pack Rat #1, caribiner key rings, diskette box, 2 ducks, flexi-puzzle, and geocaching magnets.
February 10, 2003: Update! This geocache is now a micro-cache. The information that you need is still inside. Once you find it, you may see the evidence at http://www.geocachingkids.com/------. (You'll have to find the last six characters to complete the URL.) The micro is hidden at eye-level for an average size adult.
