pater47: I went by to do a maintenance check today and discovered the third stage was missing. Since this was a critical stage, and the cache had not been visited in over 5 months (in fact, the last two "finders" were not in the log book.), I have decided to archive this one.

It will be replaced sometime in the future with an easier multi and probably a letterbox.

In lieu of flowers in memory of one of the state's oldest multi's the family has requested donations be made to the Mississippi Geocachers Association: www.mgsa.net

This is a nine-phase cache with 4 physical containers. Varied terrain. Most definitely not one for the baby stroller.

Suggested parking for this cache is at the primitive camping entrance at N33 09.240' W089 02.602'. To complete this "adventure", you will encounter 2 physical caches, then an easy puzzle involving 5 landmarks, then two more physical containers. All the containers are ammo boxes. This will cover a couple of miles of varied terrain. Hiking boots, walking stick, and water may be a good idea. Because of some steep terrain, night caching is not advisable on this one (also, the area closes at 10 p.m.).

The final cache box is completely loaded with lots of neat stuff from the wonderfully cute to the delightfully tacky to the downright weird.

Tree cover will likely be an issue. Plan to spend some time here. Lots of good resting/picnic spots along the way. NOTE: The hint below pertains ONLY to the third container!
