Geocache Description:

Nice little horse back riding with a cache. Look out for the Larva.

This is, I believe the first Cocoon cache or a Breeder Cache in Washington. What is a Cocoon Cache?

New development!! The Larva is loose!!

CACHE LARVA has left his cocoon. He was seen flying over the south sound looking for a spot to give birth to an offspring.

The Cocoon holds a Larva cache. If some one wants to take the larva, they assume full responsibility for its health. This is how it works, Take the larva and find a new cocoon. Once hidden, send me the coords and or a hint. I will go hunt for the larva. If the larva is in a good hiding spot, It has given birth to a new cache (hence the name Breeder or Cocoon cache)
I will create a new cache page with you as the mother of the larva. Then, when the larva is fully mature, it will be taken from that cocoon by another cacher, it will find a new cocoon or a birthing spot. And so on and so.
After the larva leaves the cocoon, any new cachers please bring the front page of the morning newspaper so the cache becomes a time cocoon of sorts. Over time we can see what happens to current events.
Your looking for a drab green ammo box.
This cache area is a multi use trails area. These trails are well defined and used mostly by horseback riders. You may hike, mountain bike or take your horse to the cache. I would not hike this cache unless you are realy into it. We rode a 1.45 miles to place the cache. You gain about 600ft on the hike. There is a servce road that goes almost to the top. Bring lunch or a snack when you get to the top. This cache is well worth the effort, I promise you!! You should not need the hint, I was getting WAAS and all 12 SATS. You may want to park at the horse parking area at the base of the hill off of hwy 410. Have fun.
