This a physically challenging cache. Getting to it is a tough mountain bike ride, a brutal trail run, or an epic day-long hike. It's slightly less than 8 miles to the cache from the trailhead and gains a little over 1500ft. Why do it? Because the views are awesome, the endorphins are wonderful, and it's a challenge.
To really "cache" in, do La Luna, Mike's Memorial Cache, High Road to Fossil Hill cache, Fossil Hill cache, Old Camp, and Cook's Corner cache with this one.
The trailhead is at N33° 42.158/W117° 38.186. Park along Modjeska Grade Road off Santiago Canyon Road. Check the signs--some sections of the road are tow away zones.
