This cache started with items related to completing your tax forms,
but this is not a theme cache. The cache container is a
standard size ammo box. There is a walking trail near the cache
location - be stealthy when retrieving and replacing the cache.
Terrain is fairly easy, except for the last few feet. Trail will be
muddy after a rain.
This park actually spans the border between Dallas and Collin
Counties. For a scenic walk, start at the parking area at N 32°
59.225 W 096° 43.135 and cross the foot bridge. Be sure to check
out the small waterfall to the north of the cache while you're
there. It's a nice place to bring a lunch on your lunch hour.
2006-05-15: Cache replaced with a water-tight 3"x9" metal tube
(an MK-72 proximity fuze can). Bring small and/or skinny items to
trade. Be careful that you don't cross-thread the cap when you
screw it back on.
The original TAXing contents were:
- Correction Fluid
- A Pack of #2 Pencils
- Pencil Sharpeners (4)
- Neon Colored Erasers
- A CD of The Beatles' Tax Man
- Calculators (3)
- A Roll of RED TAPE
- Excedrin Migraine Geltabs
- Various Tax Forms
- Money (well, not exactly spendable)
