How Geocaching Works
Located on a local walking trail adjacent to the 130 acre campus of the Noble High School in North Berwick, Maine. The trail was built and is maintained by Noble Alternative Education students who will also assist in the upkeep of this cache.
Park on the small dirt access road at 43 18.109N, 070 46.826W. The trail head is located on the west side of the road about 350 feet north of the parking location at 43 18.153N, 070 46.888W and is marked with red blazes.
The trail is clearly marked for its entire length. Respect the private property which adjoins the north side of the trail. The cache is located near the trails end.
It is intended that this cache will serve several functions. First, it will provide a pleasant location for geocachers to visit. Second, as already mentioned, it will provide a useful exercise for the Noble Alternate Education program. And finally, it is intend to be used as a 'final exam' for Introductory Geocaching courses to be taught as part of the Noble Adult Education program.
