Having several playgrounds this is a great park for kids.. Bring a lunch and have some fun. If you park at the second parking spot which is the one further away from the cache, there is a great slide that goes down the side of a little hill. Up at the top of the hill is a big wide open grassy area that is a popular place to fly kites.
Wear sneakers or boots to do this cache for you will be walking in a rocky area and I wouldn't want anyone to twist an ankle. The difficulty in the terrain depends on where you decide to approach it from and how soon you decide to go to the rocky area. This is also a good place for a cache in trash out. Even during the day you may not want to go alone and do not be sneaky when going for this cache.
This park is visited by the Rangers keeping an eye out for suspicious males that are "Looking for a Few Good Men" to play in the park with. So if you can bring friends along on this cache it might be a good idea.. also even though the park will be busier, if you are at all worried about doing this cache, come on a weekend day when you wont look suspicious
