Spong! Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

oregone: Sorry to hear about your misfortune, GG and GR. You did the right thing by retrieving it, though--this one was a pretty boring cache and i'm glad to be rid of it. I may replace it more creatively in the future.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A short hike in a rarely used Willamette River park.

The cache is a smallish clear tupperware container with a poorly-spraypainted green lid. A CD case will not fit inside.
I found this park on accident while looking for a cache on the other side of the river. It's open from dawn untill 30 minutes after sunset. If the gates to this park are closed, please use common sense when parking and obey all signage.
This park is full of spiders, poison ivy, and stinging nettles. If you bring your pets or children, watch 'em closely. I'd wear long-sleeved clothing, head-covering, and maybe even gloves. As the seasons progress, bug-repellant might be a good idea as well.
Like many of these Marion county parks, the trails are poorly marked and frequently overgrown. For this reason, I ask that you at least look at the pictures I've provided to aid you in finding the cache.
