On July 11, 1804, 7AM, the Vice President of the United States, Aaron Burr, shot and killed the Secretery of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton in a duel. Hamilton laid his head on a rock, as a doctor examined the eventually fatal wound. He was taken to Manhatten where he died the next day. Commemorating this event is a bust of Hamilton, as well as the rock he laid his head on. Located atop the Palisades in Weehawkin with what has to be one of the most incredible views of Manhatten that you can find anywhere, you will find the park named for him, as well as the bust & rock. This cache is an easy find, even in the dark and the nighttime views of Manhatten easily beat the daytime view. I strongly encourage a nighttime seeking of this cache!!!
As proof you have visisted this site, look just outside the fenced in area to the North. You will see a largish metal ... box... looks like it belongs to the utilitiy company. What is the name written in large letters on this box? Email your answer to me, do not post it here; posts without the confirming information will be deleted.
