Geocache Description:

Locate in the Sierra Azul Open Space at 2600ft on a popular mountain bike trail.

This is one of my favorite mtn bike rides. I often see bike parts on the trail as I go up and have on occasion lost parts off my bike. I thought that this cache would be a good place to put the parts that one finds on the trail. Then if something falls off your bike you can go to the cache and see if it is there. There are also some tools for bike repair there. If you have any bike tools you would like to contribute bring them and we can have a repair shop up there.

Contents:

  • Clif Bar
  • Pump
  • Tire Patches
  • Allen wrenches 4mm 5mm 6mm
  • Wrench 8mm 10mm
  • Reflector
  • Golf ball
This is a tough climb. It should take you 1 to 2 hours up and considerbly less down. This area is usually patroled on weekends and I have seen tickets given for speeding (radar) and dogs. Not recommended for kids.

Clue: Located just past the trail junction. Proceed to the top of the small hill. Look toward the towers. You will see a path with a small clearing to your right. (watch for poison oak on right side) Enter it and look to your left. The cache is a small white ammo box.
