Since it appears that the cache box has been removed, I am converting this to a virtual cache until further notice. To log the cache, just talk about the conditions and your thoughts on the view. - Igor71
For those who love the Columbia River Gorge, no trip is complete without a drive on the old Scenic Highway. Although only some parts are accessible, it is a beautiful alternative to I-84 and has access to many hiking options.
While visiting the cache, please feel free to take a photo of yourself framed in the outstanding view...and post it to this page.
Word of warning regarding the sudden gusts of wind and nearby cliffs. DO NOT VENTURE NEAR THE EDGE. It is sometimes hard to keep your balance when the wind kicks up.
(04/27 - Igor71 update) It has come to my attention that there is small grave (buried urn) nearby the cache. PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB THIS. The cache is in a marked ammo box that is above ground...so there should be no confusion.
