This is a short hike near the edge of the City Of Albuquerque. It's not a difficult hike, but you will have to look to find the cache. The find itself is at an elevation of 6217 feet.
Great views of the city and well-defind trails make this a pleasant trip which can be accomplished in less than an hour.
Park at the end of Copper NE to begin this hike. N35 04.756 W106 29.087.
If you haven't done mouser's South Sandia Schedule cache yet, you can also start that one from here.
The Silver Strike Cache was hidden by Hikesouthwest on Apr. 29, 2001.
The original contents include a lady's sterling silver ring, a sterling silver eagle pendant and chain, emergency candles in a can, a rubber lizard, alabaster egg, web site creator cd, comedy classic screen saver cd, a quartz watch (working when stashed), rock and roll diner cd (golden oldies).

The cache is less than 35 feet from the trail, and is located at the base of a tree with three small boulders (about 3 feet each). It's not difficult to see but move the dead branches out of the way.

Please replace them after opening the cache.
Everything is inside a silver coffee can and each item is inside a zip-lock bag.
Happy Hunting.

Must have looked for at least 25 minutes. Coordinates didn't match the hint. Had a lot more caching to do today, so I left it for another day.
