A good old-fashioned wild-goose chase where you'll need a compass and your wits more than a GPS to find this cache.
Avast! You're on the trail of F-10's pirate treasure, eh? In this case, X only marks the beginning of your adventure. Due west of my (co-opted from D.O.T.) mark, you'll come upon a blue marker with three bars on it. The bars point the way to a pair of trees. Standing on the trail, align yourself with the trees and look up the hill for a lone tree. From this tree, (actually, you can't get to it, but close is close enough) use your compass, (or GPS if you know how to project a waypoint) to set a course of 146 degrees and travel .1 mile. Hidden up the hill from that waypoint, in the salal, below the perdedor de la corteza, (Don't bushwhack, it's right under your nose)is the booty. Please be sure and return the can to it's original spot with the writing face down.
