The cache is a standard 50 cal. ammo box painted with the familiar
drab green paint and with “geocache” stenciled on the top and
sides. Park in the Smokey Hollow Overlook, trail head is to the
South, see pic #1. I do not recommend bushwhacking straight to this
cache , start by following trail #15. Parts of this trail in spring
more closely resemble a small stream than a walking path so be
careful. See hints and pics for more details. Be warned, this cache
is not for little kids or anyone in poor health. If your smart you
will take along a couple of granola bars and some bottled spring
water. Bug spray might be a good idea also, the bugs were already
out and hungry when I scouted out this site.
