Mainly made for an excuse to have a picnic in a very nice suburb. Please take a good look at the SPOILER photos so you dont trample the vegetation
“Time out in Nedlands” near Beaton park. If you are like the majority of Perth people then you don’t have much chance of ever owning a house in Nedlands but that doesn’t mean you cant enjoy the facilities available to them. So bring along a picnic and a few friends and have some time out from the hassles. There are Free BBQ’s and a nice set of slides and swings for the kids.

You will know you are in the right area because you will see the word “TAWARRI” on a big sign. It’s a restaurant. Just follow the GPS to the cache.

We found that because of trees and the hill behind we didn’t get a very good fix on the location. We had errors of up to 38 meters and as little as 15 meters. With variations like that it gets hard to find an exact spot on the globe.

Can all people that find the cache log their coordinates and we will try to average them out to make it easier for other followers.

The cache is 30meters behind a park table and up the hill slightly. There are two small palm trees between the cache and the park table.

We placed the cache at the base of a grass tree…(to the left side and slightly to the rear as you approach from the bench direction)…..Yes… Yes we know we always seem to put them there but they make a good hiding place. It would be possible to find this cache and the “Bridging Henry” cache is you were riding your bikes around the Perth cycle ways.

This place is so central to Nedlands and yet is a very quiet and secluded place. We hope you like it as much as we do.

Lyn Pat and Nathan.

Find...

the table and what you will see when you look for the cache

When you walk from the car park you will approach from this direction. so look for the table then the grass tree...easy except your GPS will have huge errors if it acts like mine in the trees and with the hill influence
Closer view of the Grass tree

This may help more its not hard to find if you use these clues. If you used just the GPS I think you will find it fits in a 50 metre circle
The river around here looks great

You dont need to live here to enjoy the facilities.

Got to gz for this one and thought after leaving muggle city. Now I know what half of Perth does on a Sunday the go down to the Swan for a picnic dont they. Someone was sitting at the table. I was so angry. I sat down and waited Lucky they disappear soon then I made a quick find following the geo trail TFTC
