Some very enjoyable driving will get you to this location. Plan on the trip taking three hours from Lewiston, Idaho.
My wife and I dropped this off as we visited Idaho for the first time. We tried to take this road all the way through, but after climbing out of the valley for 11 miles, we were stopped by snow and fallen trees so we went back to the Salmon River to return. Overall this is a very pretty place. The weather was perfect on May 14, 2002.
