At one time there were over 52 covered bridges in the state of MD. Now there are only 8 left (that they know of). Roddy Creek Bridge is the smallest covered bridge in MD. Because Route 15 is close by there is some traffic in this area, but it doesn't seem to be too bad. Please be sure to check out the note on the bridge that talks about the history of it.
The terrain is rated a 2.5 because there is no real trail and the cache is hidden in an area that was somewhat thorny. My son was able to get in and out with little assistance so I think it's okay for most kids. There is some heavy growth and I wouldn't wear shorts.
Cache is a black ammo box, standard size, and contains the following start-up items:
