Geocache Description:

Great views of Big Manistee River & Marilla Hills (think fall color). Should be an easy find at the end of a two track.

Easy to walk to if by car (but requires some two-tracking). Really really big clime if coming from the river.

The cache is nothing special, but the view of the Big Manistee River and Marilla hills on the other side of the river makes this spot outstanding. A great place for fall color! The site is in a beautiful part of the Manistee National Forest along the Big Manistee River. The view is out across a part of the forest that was roadless –which may or may not stay that way under President Bush’s new rules.

If you want to insert yourself into part of this view, then seek out geocache site “Oxbow” (GCG8FG). Or take a hike along The River Trail.

This geocache needs to be covered and hidden well. Please restore it to its place, hidden better than it was when you found it.
