Find the final resting place of a General of the American Civil War (1861-1865). The Union officially had 583 compared to the Confederates 425. They can be found worldwide literally. To properly log your find: coordinates must be provided : your find should have been a General between the Civil War years of 1861-1865 : a photograph of the General's grave marker and your gps must be taken. Union Brevet Generals will be accepted. No memorial markers; therefore, photographs must be of the final resting place of that particular General. However, a few Generals have only cenotaphs; these will be accepted. If you're not sure, log your find anyway and I will let you know. If not his grave, it will be deleted with no hard feelings (I hope). Please provide the name of the cemetery. The familar locationless rules apply; One log per person and a General can be logged only once.
