This is near one of our favorite camping spots. We were driving around after an afternoon cache hunt and decided to check out this viewpoint. The mountain was overcast this afternoon (Why did I even dare to think we'd have clear skies for Memorial Weekend?).
On a clear day I bet the view is wonderful.
Since we are always looking for good hiding spots we naturally started scouting the area as soon as we got the car parked. Misguided One found this spot and we knew we had to hide a cache here. Naturally we had a cache ready to go in the GeoVan, so we took a few pictures and took a few readings.
Park down in the paved area near the information sign and walk to the cache area.
