I noticed this cache while approving new caches in the area. It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Geocache Description:

This is a two-part cache. The most enjoyable way to find these caches is by bicycle. This cache hunt is also accessible by taking NJ Transit railway to Convent Station on the Morristown line and walking to the caches. The caches are along the Traction Line trail, a paved multi use trail of the Morris County Park system.

The first cache is a film canister that has slips of paper with coordinates for the second cache. Please take a slip and go to these coordinates to find the cache with the logbook. The second cache is a Tupperware type container with a green top which is 7” x 5” x 5” with a green top. If you approach the first part from the west be sure to continue to the east a little bit more to find and read the educational sign about the wall.

Stay within the confines of the fenced trail way. Beyond any fences is either NJ Transit right of way or private property.

If you choose to drive and then walk or bike to the cache then there is on street parking near the first part at N 40 46.297 / W 074 25.704 or if you would like you can park near the middle of the two parts at N 40 46.742 / W 074 26.647. This last parking lot requires payment. (On weekends we have always parked east of here in permit area near church and never been ticketed.)

Please be aware this trail is heavily used and some stealth on your part will allow this cache to remain available longer for your fellow geocachers. Thanks
