Drive to Herb Parsons and do a 45 minute hike (around the lake - counterclockwise). You'll pass a rocky embankment, then you enter the woods. Walk 35 more minutes from here. The cache is close to the 2.5 mile marker. Look to the right-hand side. It's within 10 feet of the trail. If you want to finish the hike, keep going for about 30 more minutes and you will run into a paved road. Follow the new trail markers. It's 5.5 miles all the way around the lake.
This cache is a clear rubbermaid container with the official Geocache sticker. There is a rock on top. Most items hikers will find of interest: Compass, mini pocket knife, wilderness whistle, rain poncho, and a disposable camera (please take a picture and return to the container - will publish pictures in one year or as soon as the roll is used up).
