The yellow jackets are vanquished and the cache has been restored to it's original location. Located off a short hiking trail at the scenic Rockdale County covered bridge. The cache is located inside the circle formed by the trail, so please obey the no trespassing areas outside the loop.
There is a small parking area next to the bridge with a well marked trail. This is pretty easy terrain. The cache is an ammo box painted Kelly green and well marked. the following items are contained:
- A ziplock bag with cover sheet, logbook, pencils, pencil sharpener, glue stick and some spare batteries.
- The Far Side note sheets
- Whinnie-the-Pooh stickers
- Matchbox rescue SUV (sure to become a collectors item!)
- Coleman brass whistle w/lanyard
- a pink pencil
- a cartoon pencil
- Atlanta Braves schedule mouse pad ( I think the games we win are in blue and the losses are in red. I'm not sure.)
- Dylan and the Dead CD
Although it appears that no expense was spared in stocking the cache, all items were on sale, a freebie or extorted.(who sez The Sopranos ain't educational TV)
