Enjoy the panoramic views of Pope and Chiles Valleys. Then turn around and climb the hill to search for the cache.
Park your car at the Pacific Union College Airport (Virgil O. Parrott Field) N38.34.245 / W122.26.003 / Elev. 1840' and enjoy a 2 mile hike, bicycle or horseback ride on dirt roads to the cache coordinates at an elevation of 1680'. This cache is on private property, and while the public is free to enjoy the back country, no motorized vehicles are allowed off the pavement . . . even if the gates are open. This area is one of the most popular mountain biking areas in the Napa Valley so depending on the day and time there may be quite a few people in the area. The cache is a rectangular Rubbermaid container painted brown to match the terrain with a collection of small treasures.
