Along a trail that marks a spendy spot for the travelers on the Oregon Trail.
Small 5"x8"x3" tupperware type container, camo-taped. Even with the tree cover I was able to get a good signal. Container is smaller than your normal cache, so please don't try to bring anything LARGE to trade. If the cache is bursting at the seams, please take more than one item to leave room for the next cacher. If this cache isn't airtight it will be ruined in no time, as this spot is under snow for a good portion of the year, rain for another good portion, and a few scant weeks of good dry weather! Lock your car, through the years we have seen some interesting folks near the campground to the west-homeless skiers? You will need a Northwest Forest Pass to park at the parking lot. Sorry, this is a new thing and we don't like it either!
