This fishing theme cache is located on an island in Watts Bar
Lake/Piney River.
"Hooked" on Caches is located on an island on the Piney River, a
reservoir of Watts Bar Lake. A boat is required to get to the
cache. Lots of wildlife can be seen, including deer and many
species of spiders. The contents of the cache include 4 AA
batteries, a box of water-proof matches, 4 rubber worms, a large
lure with a sharp hook, and several other fishing items in a piece
of tupperware, inside a plastic bag. The cache is hidden in a large
group of fallen pine trees (see pictures for spoilers). This cache
is not an easy one and proper clothing should be worn - boots,
pants, hat, etc. We're also giving another set of coordinates to
help locate the cache: N35*41.040 / W084*49.823. THIS IS AN
EXTREMELY HARD CACHE - IF YOU FIND IT YOU ARE A GOD OF GEOCACHING!

September 30, 2009 by Sagebrushwoody (2868 found) A fun cache but a costly one. Left my GPS on the back bumper and drove away after the find. That is a good way to end your caching day quickly. Brought my canoe from Ohio to do some lake caches this trip. This was the first and all is well with the container and log. I was about 77 feet off at the hide but the pictures saved me. My dog Cache had a ball on the island. Thanks Sagebrushwoody

December 16, 2006 by mani2 (32 found) We paddled out to the island and I was standing on a log trying to figure out which way to go. When I stepped down I realized I had been standing right above the cache! Nice spot. Loons were singing on this warm December day. TNLN thanks

July 1, 2006 by tnkaren9 (80 found) Stana Claus, the kids, and I hunted and found this cache on a belated Father's Day trip. Boy, those little green plants with pointy ends were everywhere!!!! I have quite a few marks on my legs from those spikes. But finding the cache was fun. TFTC

July 1, 2006 by Stana Claus (173 found) TNKaren9 & I took the kids out for a day on the lake and decided to get the 3 water accessible caches down on this end of the lake. This was #1 of 3. Really wasn't that hard to find as long as you didn't mind bushwhacking your way across the island from the landing spot. Got great reception even under the trees and the coordinates were right on the mark. Took nothing, left a rubber worm. TFTC.
