Geocache Description:

A highly public & highly unusual example of conceptual art.

THE GHOST PARKING LOT

Lunchtime Cache
Nightcaching
Less than 500 ft. from car to cache

Located in a shopping center parking lot is a public art display. From the title you can infer that cars are involved, and to quote the description off their sign... "the concept deals with a number of factors characteristic of the American mobilized experience--the blurred vision of motion itself, the fetishism of the car itself, indeterminancy of place & object--and is conceived to generate interest and dialogue in the community based upon an iconagraphy of equivocation and ambiguity.".

Whew!

That said, take a trip, tell me what you think. The art is out in the open, and as such is exposed to the elements. One of the important aspects to this piece is what the elements will do to it over time. Age & deterioration are integral to the concept. Feel free to post any comments whatsoever, but try not reveal too many of the key components if possible. The required proof of your visit is to tell me how many signs there are about this art piece, and their current condition from left to right.
