| October 31 by *TnT* (2507 found) For many a moon, we'd thought about getting this -- the oldest cache in Arkansas, but for one reason or another never made the trek over this way. This morning though, we had plans to attend an event in Harrison. Although we'd thought about making a cache in Maine #2500, we decided that since we were going to be so close, and needing only 15 finds, why not drive the extra distance from Harrison and make this #2500. So, that's exactly what we did. We drove around town logging the few more needed to make this one THE one and then drove on over. It's probably a good thing we didn't get here until we did -- it looked like there had been a fruit stand set up here earlier. We quickly made the find and put our mark on the log sheet, took the obligatory pictures and headed on home. It was nice to make a significant historical cache such as this one our 2500th find.
[view this log] | October 17 by LoisLane.and.Gemini (48 found) We made the drive from Walnut Ridge specifically for this cache and the Bull Shoals park cache. This one has been on our list for a while and we were VERY excited when we pulled in. I spotted the hide before the car had even stopped. We traded several items and took a lot of pictures. So glad to get the oldest cache in the state! Thank you so much for keeping this cache active for so long!
