Geocache Description:

This cache takes you to a place of great diversity in downtown Atlanta, two blocks from Five Points and two blocks from the state Capitol and Underground Atlanta. This cache is rated 4 in difficulty because of the webcam coordination that must be done.
ALSO, THE WEBCAM MUST BE USED TO GET CREDIT FOR THIS CACHE. NO PHOTOS EXCEPT THOSE FROM THE WEBCAM CAN BE ACCEPTED. PART OF THE DIFFICULTY IS GETTING THERE WHEN THE CAMERA IS WORKING.

This cache should be done with a cell phone and a good friend on a computer at the other end of the line. As with any urban site, be streetwise and alert at all times. Go to N 33 45.203 W 84 23.119. To get here, you can use MARTA (Georgia State station) or take your chances with metered or lot parking. When you get to the coordinates, call your friend, look up at the initials, and wave! Ask your friend to zoom in as much as possible so your GPS unit can be seen (and your smiling face). Log in your cache but don't mention anything about where the site is. If we don't receive an e-mail with a picture of you ON THE WEBCAM, we'll have to delete your "find."

To the computer operator: Go to (visit link) You may need to scan, re-position the frame and zoom in as much as you can to get a clear picture of your waving friend. If the view is jumping around, someone else is trying to control the camera at the moment. You'll have to wait until they stop. Save the picture to your computer (you can also paste it into a word document) or send it directly to us. E-mail the file to us (see profile for address) with the account name of the person who has found the cache.

HISTORICAL NOTE: The white marble building behind you and to your left used to be part of the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium. In March 1911, then President Taft, former President Teddy Roosevelt, and then Governor Woodrow Wilson addressed the Southern Commercial Congress in this building.
