Geocache Description:

Great park for kids. The cache is near water. Some scrambling required(light)Parking is obvious, approach to cache is as hard as you make it.

This is Ryan's 1st cache placed. We came here in the spring while searching for Just for the Halibut and Dogtown. He made me promise then to return with a cache. He's 9 and sort of a playground expert. He liked this one and rocks to climb too!!!
Used a Garmin Etrex to place cache. Let me know if you think the coords are ok. This is a camera cache take a pic, leave a note, swap a toy. Initial contents inlude a microscope, some 1 cent stamps, a smooth rock, a puzzle,a red change pouch, a beenie baby, 4 NHL cards, 5 Pokemon cards and a geode cross section. Bring the kids but dont expect to leave real quick. Happy caching!!!

3/13/2003 AAAAAArgh!!!! Ryans_geopirates went to check the 1st treasure we had buried, only to find it plundered.(As noted by Walden, Thanx for the note) The tide may hve taken it away over the winter, but it looks to be a hot spot for youthful partiers, too. Live and Learn either way. This is still a great park to visit, but the cache is no more. Thanx to all who visited and logged. If anyone one ever finds it drop me a line. Thanks. Chris
